Dr Nick Lowe| Purifying Foaming Cleanser

I bought this after seeing a review on UrbanButterfly's blog and thought it would be be worth a try!

I don't have overly blemish prone skin but bought it with the idea that I would use it when I was having a break out to try and calm it down.

I have to say that I don't love this product but I don't hate it either.

I like the packaging. It is pretty standard but I love the pump as it dispenses exactly the right amount. I find I only need one pump.

This is a foam cleanser but I find when you are rubbing it into your face it pretty much disappears. It doesn't really leave your skin feeling that clean but really does help with the blemishes. I had a look on the Boots website and there were others that also said that it didn't leave their skin feeling all that clean either.

The one thing I really don't like about this product is that is smells quite chemically, which is something I try and avoid when buying face products but like I said it has been working and for me that really is the main thing.
Salicylic Acid is one of main ingredients in this product, which is what fights the blemishes.

One thing that I will say now it that I have read that if you are using a skincare product with Salicylic acid you should ensure that you wear sun protection.

This can be bought from Boots or Boots online here
£10.16 for 150ml

  3. Just seen you this :) initially I felt the very same about this product, it didn't really feel like it went far. I am on my second bottle (actually bought today so it lasts well) and I have seen a real improvement to mg skin. Bear with it x x
