Jemma Kidd| Light as Air Foundation

I was so excited to get this foundation is has been on my wish list for so long it is unreal. I was a bit dubious about buying a foundation online when I haven't seen the colour in person but I went for it anyway and now I wish I hadn't. Even though I went for 'ultra light' it is still about a shade to dark for my skin?! I'm not that pale! ( for reference I am nc15 in Mac)

I decided to give this a couple of road tests anyway because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and I have to say I was not disappointed.

This foundation blends like a charm. As always I used my real techniques buffing brush and it does blend so effortlessly into the skin and leaves you with a flawless even finish. Both times I used this I dusted over a little loose powder just to make it a little more matt but to be honest it gives a natural dewy finish, it is just that I prefer matte but it wasn't a finish that made me look 'shinny' just a lovely dew to the skin

I found that is lasted well through out the day. Both times I tested this foundation, where days that I was working all day and I do a lot of running around after customers so tend to get a little hot ( aka sweaty! haha nice!) and it did last through it all. By the end of the day I did feel I wanted to have a little touch up, even just dust on some more powder but overall it was good. I have tired foundations that seem to vanish after a couple hours so anything that lasts more than 7 hours is a good one I'm my eyes.

The only thing that I feel let's this foundation down is the packaging. I much prefer a pump. I just think for how much you pay the packaging looks a bit cheap but that's just me.

This foundation is well worth a look, just a shame it is to dark for me otherwise I think I would of had a new favourite!

I bought mine from feel unique for £15.35 for 30 ml (free delivery)
I actually bought this for £25! so you are getting it a lot cheaper!

  1. I've always been tempted by this foundation but like you put off by ordering online. If only you could buy samples to test shades before buying the full tube.
