Foundation Dilemma

Ok, basically I am yet to find a foundation I am happy with. I don't know why but no foundation seems to have any lasting power on my nose. I mean I even have double wear and it doesn't last. I have also tried several different primers but nothing seems to be working.

My nose isn't dry it does have blackheads and larger pores (just bad!) I have normal skin that at times can lean slightly to the dryer side.

I preferably want a medium coverage foundation as my skin isn't bad but needs evening out.

I thought I would share my little journey with you. I will be posting reviews along with pictures of how foundations look once applied and after a full day.

This feature won't be a weekly thing but I am hoping to make it a regular thing until I find my perfect foundation!

If anyone has any recommendations I would love to hear them.

  1. Great idea. :) i will keep an eye out for all the reviews. Blogs looking great x

  2. I am FOREVER suffering the same problem with foundation - though recently I've had a lot of love for Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H in shade 010 - I have really fair skin and struggle to find one that suits, but this one does. It actually stays put too - not for 24 hours, but I never have time to fix my makeup at work and it always seems to have stayed put until the end of the day! It can be a bit drying if my skin is having a bad day, but then I use Clinique Superbalanced foundation - doesn't stay put as well, but it gives lovely dewy medium coverage :)

    1. I may have to try get a sample of this to try! xx

  3. I've heard good things about chanel vitalumiere aqua and my all time favorites are revlon colorstay and neutrogena healthy skin. My t-zone tends to get pretty oily and those work for me.

    1. I have too! I'm just. Bit put off that it's only a light coverage. I'll have to have a look at the other 2. Heard good things above the revlon colour stay xx

  4. MAC pro longwear is my go to foundation, it lasts all day :)
